Introduction

The latest generation S3D- Synchro chuck, designed to meet current market demands, ensures higher process stability, better thread quality and longer service life. Offering tool presetting capabilities from both the machine side and the tool side, this innovative design has optimized lubricant feed-through for a leakage-free transfer to the tap. The length compensation on compression and tension (e.g., +/- 0.5 mm) and damping in the direction of rotation help compensate for minor synchronization errors and position deviations, ultimately reducing pressure on thread flanks and minimizing required cutting torque.
