Introduction

The screw thread micrometer uses optional V-Anvil and conical spindle inserts interchangeably to precisely measure pitch diameters of metric or unified screw threads. The highly stable frame incorporates a heat shield to preserve accuracy over extended measuring sessions. A non-digital micrometer designed to mount easily interchangeable anvils/spindle-tips for measuring a wide range of screw threads. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements.
